About Our Facilitators

Kristen Rampe, works extensively with the accounting industry on practice management and leadership development. She spent ten years in public practice with Big 4 powerhouse PwC and top-50 ranked Frank Rimerman in San Francisco before founding her consulting practice in 2011.

Kristen was named Woman to Watch by the California Society of CPAs in 2011, 40 Under 40 by CPA Practice Advisor in 2015, and featured in the Journal of Accountancy in October 2018. She holds an active CPA license with the state of California. She has been featured by Fortune and Investor’s Business Daily. She is also the author of Accounting Dreams and Delusions, a book of (really!) accounting humor. She is a graduate of Butler University.

Marc Rosenberg is a nationally known consultant, author and speaker on CPA firm management, strategy and partner issues. President of his own Chicago-based consulting firm, The Rosenberg Associates, he is founder of the most authoritative annual survey of mid-sized CPA firm performance statistics in the country, The Rosenberg Survey. He has consulted with more than 1000 firms throughout his decades-long consulting career.

Annually recognized by Accounting Today as one of the Top 100 Most Influential People and   Rosenberg regularly contributes to leading industry publications.

He is best known as the author of his acclaimed Practice Management series—a compilation of knowledge and experience amassed throughout his consulting career on key topics pertinent to CPA practice management. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois.

Kate Steinert-Threlkeld spent more than 20 years of her professional career in CPA firm marketing and business development roles at two Top 100 firms in New York. Now she serves as the primary program facilitator and individual coach in the jBD Academy. Learn more about Kate here.
